Cresht, the Mermidon, often talks about the Boiling Ocean from which it originated. However, when dealing with Cresht, one must remember that the sea is not named for its temperature, but because of the endless battles under the sea, and Cresht is at the top of the food chain.
The ancient records do not describe the origin of Cresht in detail. The only knowledge about him comes from the chants of poets: "The darkness that rises from the deepest sea, his trident is so terrible that he carries nothing but death."
In the Human and Monster Wars, Cresht fought fearlessly on the front lines, torturing humans non-stop. Surprisingly, Cresht did not return to the Boiling Ocean after the war. Instead, he pursued a higher goal than simply eating the weak.
